Every ebook starts at £2.99. Its price rises only when it reaches a new level of unique paid downloads, and it can never cost more than £5.

70% goes to the author
Each successful paid download creates an author royalty automatically. The House of Lit keeps the remaining 30% and covers ordinary payment-processing costs from its share.
What counts as popularity?
Only unique, completed, paid purchases count towards the next price. Repeat downloads, complimentary copies, refunded orders and disputed payments do not increase the price.
